WE DESIGN with emphasis on simplicity, durability, sustainability, and luscious finishes. Our aim is to delight – creating pieces that make an impact on space, with volumes and surfaces that demand to be touched.

WE MAKE in our West Sussex workshop using a combination of traditional hand tooling and advanced CNC robotics. All our finishes are hand sanded and the vast majority of our finishes are French polished, also by hand, for satisfyingly tactile surfaces.

What level of quality can I expect?

We are constantly striving to increase the quality of our products. Our design philosophy is toward durable traditional methods such as dovetailing to ensure that our furniture provides many years of use. We use industry standard finishing technology with two part stain and lacquer processes to provide highly durable and light fast finishes which require very little maintenance. Do you have an environmental policy?

We only source our timber materials from environmentally friendly, sustainably managed forests certified by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and/or the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). We source the majority of our pine from Finland which has a world class reputation for forest stewardship.

We are committed to constantly reducing our impact on the environment. We use local suppliers where possible and make and deliver within the UK. Our short supply chain results in a lower carbon footprint.

What are your delivery times?

95% of our orders are manufactured and shipped within 5 to 10 working days. Some custom products and larger projects may take longer. In general we consider quality, not time, to be of the essence. If you have an urgent requirement please contact us. We can usually accommodate.

Can I request customisations on your shop products?

You most certainly can. As we make all of our furniture we can customise it however we/you like. We welcome your ideas. Please contact us in the first instance including a basic outline of what you would like. We will usually respond within 24 hours with either a quote or any clarifications we need.

Do you offer a bespoke joinery service?

The products on this web site are just the tip of the iceberg. We offer a full bespoke joinery service from initial concept through to design and manufacture for real wood and metal based products. We can provide detailed drawings, specifications, and quotations prior to manufacture. Contact us for details.

What happens when I order?

We will send you an order confirmation email when your order is received and get to work making your new furniture. We are generally ready to dispatch within 5-10 days. When we in the finishing stages you will receive an email confirming the planned delivery date with some delivery information. Should you wish to change the delivery to another day please contact us.

How does delivery work?

When your new furniture is nearly complete we will send an email with the planned delivery date, some delivery information and an option to change the delivery date if possible.

You will then receive the TNT tracking number once dispatched. We use TNT Express, this is a planned next-day service. If you plan to stay in especially, please check the TNT website the morning of delivery to ensure the status is ‘delivering’ and that there have been no delays. The standard delivery window is weekdays between 8am and 6pm. Saturday delivery and AM delivery windows are available for an additional charge.

On delivery, a signature is required. If someone cannot be at the address, you can leave a note on the door with instructions for the driver to leave the delivery in a safe place / with a neighbour. The driver will take the signed note as proof of delivery.

TNT will attempt delivery three times. After the first failed attempt you can go on to the TNT website to rearrange delivery i.e. change the delivery day / address / add details of a hidden safeplace or hold at the local TNT depot for collection. If no changes are made the consignment will automatically go back out for delivery twice more (weekdays).

What is your returns policy?

We offer a no quibble 14 day returns policy. If after you receive your item you are not completely satisfied with it you may return it to us for a full refund. We only ask that you take care to repackage the item so that it is returned in a merchantable condition. See our terms and conditions for more information.
